This one was a doozy…
This project came to us through one of our trusted roofing partners. Ted had initially signed a contract with a well-known company who attempted to get into the solar installation space. They encountered significant challenges due to his roof's integrated sprinkler system.
Our team stepped in and carefully lifted the roof tiles, installing tile hooks directly into the rafters while avoiding the sprinkler system. With our roof expertise, we were able to complete the solar installation and even repair the damage caused by the previous company at no additional cost. We also saved Ted’s favorable NEM agreement with the utility, ensuring he could still benefit from the original terms.

This beautiful beach front home is powered by the nature that surrounds it. The home had fragile clay tile that was slowly being eroded by the salt water in the air. We went with the picture frame method (see roofing tab) to avoid breaking tile, but to also retrofit the roof with comp shingle which will be the roof system of choice when they replace their existing roof in the future.

This custom home in the hills of Point Loma got a brand new TPO roof before solar was installed. We are able to save the homeowner cost by being able to heat torch the TPO boots in house, working in conjunction with our roofing partner. This is a tilted system on a flat roof.
